Welcome to Coastal Equestrian a top quality, full service, hunter/jumper training facility, located in beautiful North Saanich on Vancouver Island. Being just minutes from the ferry and airport and only 25 minutes from Victoria make it an ideal location.



The fully developed 12 acre farm was purchased by Brad Johnson and Katie Hourigan in October 2010 and they have a vision to have a facility like no other in the region.

If you are looking for a top quality lesson or training program for you and your horse, we are looking forward to meeting with you. Coastal Equestrian strives to give the highest quality of care for the horse. We also offer this same quality of thought and effort towards an individual training and lesson program. Coastal Equestrian is a training and show barn; therefore, our methods of teaching are in reflection of that, and our goals to promote the horse and riders talents in either the hunter or jumper ring. From the young horse in need of training and guidance or experienced show horse, we can cater to both.
